The Rules of Montmarena

Our Values

We value honesty, uplift, curiosity, and mental health.

We’re here in support of each other.

And we believe there’s enough space for all of us here.

Our rules are guided by these principles.

The Rules

You’re here as part of a community. Own that responsibility.

Be civil. We don’t expect everyone to get along or have the same opinion. We DO expect you to treat others with compassion, empathy, kindness, and civility. If you disagree and something must be said, do it in a way that encourages conversation and heart-to-heart dialogue.

Be supportive. We’re all in this together. Some of us have been in entrepreneurship longer than others. Don’t patronize. Offer encouragement, advice, and support.

Be kind. There is enough space for all of us.

Ask questions. Ask questions of mentors and the community. The worst question is the one unasked.

Participate in discussion. Respond when you have something to offer. Contribute your opinion. Share thoughts.

No DMs. If you have something to share, share it with all of us. The community benefits from open dialogue.

No self-promotion. Except on established threads, don’t self-promote. We’re here to learn, not sell.

Don’t upload or post inappropriate content. Inappropriate, pornographic, offensive, or otherwise objectionable content is unacceptable. You will be permanently banned from the community if you engage in this type of behavior.

No spam. This is a safe space. It’s your responsibility to keep it that way.

No illegal or unethical activity. Keep everything legal and ethical. You will be permanently banned from the community if you participate, suggest, or encourage illegal or unethical behavior.

Respect privacy. Do not share screenshots of our community elsewhere. Do not share personal information of you or any member with anyone. Privacy violations will not be tolerated and will result in you being permanently banned from this community.

Report misbehavior. While we do our best to keep an eye on things, we can’t catch everything. Please participate in the community and report anything that might violate these rules.
